Version 3.0 - Feature List

Based on user feedback, and experience using LEM, we are building a feature list for the next major version.  If you have any feature you'd like added to LEM, please send what you'd like to lem@ratajik.com.

• Allow And/Or/Not processing on filtering.

• Merge Rule list and Rule edit screens together (reduce navigation on those screens).  Possibly merge all the way back to server select.

• Allow VBScript scripting of rules. This would be "advanced" scripting vs. the standard "basic" scripting already in place.

• Local Help files, in addition to the Web Help.

• Allow for additional threading of log checks.  The check process is currently threaded, but is serial for each log (it checks them one at a time).  Look at running those checks in parallel.  This is mainly for those that have a LOT of servers and logs to check.

• Optionally don't remove settings on un-install.

No guarantee is made that these features will be included in the next release.  Once the next design and coding on the next version has started, the features that will be included in that release will decided.  These may or may not include the above list.
